He’s done it!

Hand 64: All in from the short stack Allistair with A 6 and Ray insta-calls with his favourite hand, The Rahme – the two red sevens.

Ray swears by the pocket sevens and says he prefers them to pocket Aces!

The community cards do nothing to increase the tension or help Allistair Didloff and Ray is the new All Africa poker Champion.

Allistair Didloff walks away with R400,000 and a trip to Las Vegas to play in the main Event of the WSOP.

Ray Rahme earns R1 million yet and another trip to Las Vegas to play in the main Event of the WSOP. And more importantly he has the title that he really wants under his belt.

The legend of Ray continues…

Well done Mr Rahme. We are proud to call you our champion!

Hand 63: Flat calls preflop.
Flop: 10s J Ks, Ray bets 100k and Allistair reraises to 400k which is called by Ray. Turn: A. Ray goes all-in and his tournament life is at risk if he is called. It’s a big decision at 1,1million chips and Allistair is taking his time. He says he wants to and makes the call. He shows 10 4! Ray shows K 9. The river is a six and Ray has an overwhelming chip lead.

Hand 63 is the defining hand of the tournament!

A big bluff

Hand 58: Ray raises by 80k and called again.
Flop: 2 4h Ah, Ray bets 100k and wins

Hand 59: Ray raises and takes the pot.

Hand 60: Allistair Didloff raises another 100k and is called
Flop: Q A 8, A bet of 100 k from Allistair is called by Ray, Turn: 2c A bet from Allistair of 200k is called by Ray. River: Js, Allistair fires a third time and wins the pot. He shows a 7 5 – a brave bluff for a big pot!

Hand 61: Flat calls and a 7 6 Q flop leads to a bet from Ray who takes down the pot.

Hand 62: Allistair raises to 300k and Ray throws his cards in the muck

Heads up for a million

Ray Rahme said this was his tournament and this is the best he has done so far. Will it be his night? 1,9m chips

Allistair Didloff won his seat on line and took no rebuys or add-ons. So far he has paid R77 for a trip to Vegas. Will he also receive a million rand? 1,6m chips

Hand 55: Ray comes out firing from the SB/button to 80k and is called
Flop: K 6 7, Allistair fires after the flop and draws first blood.

Hand 56: Allistair flat calls and we see a flop
Flop: 8 8 K, Allistair bets again and again Rahme folds.

Hand 57: Ray raises from the button by another 100k and is called.
Flop: 3 3 2, Ray bets 140k and takes the pot.

Blinds: 15000/30000
Antes: 3000
Players Left: 2
Average Stack: 1,800,000

Hand 53: Allistair Didloff raises from the BB and takes the pot

Hand 54: SB completes and Eber and Didloff to the flop
Flop: 10d 9s Ad, Ryan bets 35k and is called, Turn: 7d Eber bets 80k and is reraised to 280k. Eber is all-in and Didloff calls
Eber two pairs 9d and 7c Didloff six high flush. Eber is looking to pair his nine or seven or any other diamond would actually give him a higher flush.
River: 2h and Eber is out!

The previous winner takes home R290,000 and a seat to the WSOP valued at R150,000

Nic shows J Q and Allistair shows 8 8
Flop: A 4 7, 2, 9
Nic is out in 4th place earning R190,000 and a seat to the WSOP worth R150,000

Ray and Ryan at it again

Hand 47: Ryan raises from the SB into Nic Rujevik who is the new chip leader. No call.

Hand 48: Ryan raises again from the button to 70k. No callers from the blinds

Hand 49: Ray raises from the SB to 65k. He takes the pot.

Hand 50: Nic flat calls UTG and Ray raises from the button to 85k. Nic calls.
Flop: 8 J 5 and Ray fires 100k to take the pot.

Hand 51: Ray raises from UTG to 70k and once again Nic is the only caller.
Flop: 5 7h 8h Ray bets out 80k and Nic calls. Turn 9, Ray bet 210k and Nic contemplated whilst practicing his drumming skills. Sandy calls time and Nic goes all-in again. Ray makes the call.
Ray shows A 9 for top pair top kicker and Nic shows A 10 for a gutshot straight draw and a flush draw. The river is not helpful to Nics cause and Ray gets his chips back leaving Nic shortstacked

Hand 45: NIc calls on the button and he and Allistair Didloff go to the flop.
Flop: 7 7 2, Turn: 10 bets 50k and called, River: A NIc bets 30k and is called. He wins with 10 J

Hand 46: Nic calls UTG and Ray raises to 70k from the button. Allistair makes the call from the SB. Eber also calls and Nic makes it a family pot. Pot at 288k!

Flop: 9s 5s 8h, Ray bets 80k from the button and only Nic calls. Turn: 10d, Nic checks and Ray bets 180k. Nic contemplates for about three minutes and finally goes all-in. The decision is now with Ray for just under 500k. Ray takes his time because this decision could win or lose the tournament. Ray folds and Nic shows A Q. Well played!
