Bluff Player of the Year Announced
To say that John “Razor” Phan has had a good year in poker would be the understatement of 2008. The thirty four year old Vietnamese poker pro concluded 2008 with no less than three 1st place finishes in some of the world’s most affluent tournaments.
His winning streak kicked of at 2008’s World Series Of Poker, where he won himself two bracelets. Then, he proceeded to win the World Poker Tour’s Legends of Poker title in August. The above-mentioned winnings elevated his total live earnings to a staggering $5,116,428!
Furthermore, after the conclusion of the Trump Poker Classic at the end of 2008, John Phan has now finally been recognised as the overall winner of the highly prestigious Bluff Magazine Player of the Year Award for 2008. So if you know you might be facing the “Razor” across the poker tables, make sure your poker skills are sharp… VERY sharp!
