Aussie Millions – Event 12 – Day 2
The conclusion of day 2 of the Main Event of the Aussie Millions, that kicked off on a highly anticipated note today, left 98 players standing out of the record number of 780.
We’re happy to see that Rahme is still in the running, illustrating the steel that champions are made of. Rahme made a bold move, by taking an aggressive approach, when he was heads up with the “Professor” Howard Lederer, going all in. The river brought good fortunes for Rahme and he eliminated the “Professor,” an opponent to reckon with, as he holds over four bracelets in the WSOP and in the WPT!
Ryan Eber, another former All Africa Poker Tournament Champion was also holding the South African flag high, putting up fierce competition amongst other international players around the final tables.
Shane Warne has completed his run in the Aussie millions, having been eliminated after ending up on the wrong side of an “all in” against Kevin O’Donnell.
J.J Lui, who nearly crippled Rahme two days ago, got a taste of her own medicine when she finally caved in as well.
Mike “the Mouth” seemed to be in better spirits today, as he was playing at the top of his game to survive. He’ll be making it through to the next round. Watch this space as the final chip counts will be posted here soon…
