Aussie Millions Day 1c Complete:
Day 1c has drawn to a close and a mere 120 players are still standing. This day saw the rolling of some very well known heads…
Annette Obrestad was one of the prominent faces who were sent to the rail today. This shouldn’t suggest that she didn’t put up a decent fight though! She had two members of the opposite sex severely intimidated, calling a huge blind causing Shane Warne (well known cricket player) and Sherif Derias (accomplished body builder) to drop their hands. Looks like many an ego took a hiding from the Norwegian 19 year old.
Actor Michael Vartan was also amongst the well known victims who got busted out, after a show-down with Russel Reikowsky.
Shane Warne is still hanging in there…Having faced some serious players and a five minute penalty (after having sent an SMS from the table). So far he’s managed to survive encounters with WSOP bracelet winner Alex Kravchenko and Anna Wroblowski (who also got eliminated).
Mike “The Mouth” seemed to be having one of “those” days. First his table went silent, in the light of his absence (as he was late from dinner break). He returned, particularly nettled and had it out with one of the floor operators. Later he was moved from his featured table in light of a bad spirited remark.
