And WSOP Day 2 begins …
A total of 6,358 players have competed in the 2007 World Series of Poker's $10,000 Main Event Tournament. 641 players survived the final Day 1, including South Africa’s Joe Rahme.
Both the Rahme’s, Ray and Joe will be carrying the hopes of Southern African players, and of course, Ray is the final remaining member of Team All Africa Poker, after winning his seat in the June 2007 All Africa Poker Tournament at Piggs Peak Casino in Swaziland.
Ray starts the day with 70,000 odd chips and play will continue until five blind levels have been played, or 350 players remain – whichever comes first.
The total prize pool of US$59,784,954 will be split amongst the top 621 Main Event players, with the final paying seat being paid $20,320. The bracelet winner will receive $8,250,000.
