All quiet
Play continues and as fatigue seems to set in and the game gets a little bit harder, more lay-downs are being seen rather than the loose or speculative calls that we saw earlier. Whilst the money is a distant thought, we are nearly halfway through the tournament and players have now increased their chances of cashing.
A few all-ins are being seen, but the short stacks seem to be holding their own, at least for now. Ricardo Fenner has just survived his 8th all-in!
Walter Marques, slightly shortstacked has taken a large chunk out of Darren Kramer’s stack in a fascinating suck-out! Kramer had A Q of hearts and Walter 9 10 also of hearts. The flop brought the A Q for Kramer and left Walter languishing. The turn was a King and the river a Jack. Walter makes a straight!
A break will follow in 20 minutes to give the players a breather and to do a complete chip count.
