All Africa turns 21!
The 21st All Africa Poker Tournament is about to get underway! Yes, it really is the 21st time that this prestigious poker tournament will be held at the Piggs Peak Hotel and Casino in Swaziland. At 8pm, 113 hopefuls will be at the tables making their plays for poker immortality, a hooded Piggie and R1 million. When the winner is decided in the small hours of Sunday morning, he/she will have massive bragging rights which will be backed up with a crazy spending spree and a mantelpiece with a proud new porcine occupant.
But until that magic moment, there will be many hours of hard-fought poker which will leave most of the entrants staring longingly at the poker room from the rail. The culmination of the event will occur in the best poker room on the planet (ask anyone who has stood in awe…) and as much as poker is all about one person pitting their skills against another, new and old friends will be cheering the final ten as if they were at a World Cup game.
