All Africa Poker Celebrity Charity Challenge and The Fountain of Love
Saturday the 7th February 2009 is a day that a very special mother and her beautiful children will find hard to forget.
Rosie, house mother for the Fountain of Love orphanage in Kathlegong, was overjoyed when Piggs Peak, home of All Africa Poker and Danny K arrived to celebrate the opening of their newly renovated home.
Together with Nashua, Nedbank, and Culinary Productions to name a few, the Piggs Peak team commemorated the newly renovated building with tasty food, delicious drinks and happy hearts as Rosie and the kids looked satisfied and settled in their new home.
The children were starry eyed as local celebs – popstar Danny K, boxer Baby Jake and former Miss South Africa Peggy-Sue Khumalo – sat amongst them and chatted happily. Peggy-Sue even taught a few of the younger girls to model up and down the new paved courtyard!
Danny K donated the money needed to repair the dilapidated building Rosie originally ran her orphanage from. The All Africa Poker Celebrity Charity Challenge, held at Piggs Peak Swaziland in 2008 was won by Danny K, who chose the Fountain of Love as his preferred charity.
Piggs Peak is proud to have been a part of such a life changing and uplifting experience. We wish Rosie all the best and thank her for opening her heart and her life to the children of Kathlegong!
