Ace Seven rules!
JP Okes looked down at A 7 and decided that it was time for his move. He unfortunately found Kevin Stani holding A J and a bigger stack. The flop was however kind to Okes and he doubled through when he hit his seven.
On the TV table, Gareth Kalil’s luck is running. In the first hand of the morning he doubled up at Hugh Todd’s expense with 99 vs JJ when he hit his nine. A few minutes ago he raised with what proved to be an almost identical hand to the outer table.
He had A 7 and was reriased by Hugh Todd who’s stack was looking slightly depleted.
Gareth made the call and it looked like he would give Hugh his chips back when Hugh showed A Q.
But just like the outer table, the seven appeared on the flop and after a near flawless performance Hught Todd is eliminated in 25th position!
Unlucky Sir and well played.
