AAP Media team speak to Ryan Brauer
Notable players on this second first day of WSOP include Chris Moneymaker, Greg Raymer, Robert Varkonyi, Jamie Gold, Mike Matusow, Shaun Deeb, Eric Seidel, Chris Mortensen, Doyle Brunson and Todd Brunson.
First level has been completed and Ryan Brauer is calmly confident with 30,500 chips. Pamela Brunson and Alan Smurfit are at his table and he says that they are all being quite friendly, no major aggressive play at this stage. He’s playing conservatively having learned from previous years not to let the adrenaline get him into too many hands. He lost a pot just before the break which has left him pretty much where he started, but he’s comfortable with this. With only 4 levels to play today and a better blind structure with starting chips of 30,000 it gives you more room to maneuver.
