A lady undone by the ladies
Peter Kortleve has just doubled through Clive Berman with JJ to AK. As Kortleve’s stack is increasing, Berman’s seems to be doing exactly the opposite.
Martin Maroun has just eliminated Jaco Venter in 45th position. Maroun had 8 8 and Venter A 10 suited in diamonds. The flop was of no help at all, the turn brought a flush draw and some hope and the river a blank. Good night Mr Venter.
Nicola Cellie looked set to perform yet another of her miraculous suck-outs when she came up against Durand Botha. She had pocket 10s and Durand pocket Queens. The flop produced the ten leaving Durand looking for the one of the reaming ladies. She did not come on the turn but the river ended Nicola’s night. She narrowly missed yet another incredible comeback. Not to be, out in 44th place to keep hubby company. (Maybe they will double date with Danny and Lee Ann…)
