Scott Andrew ends his run in 80^th place.

David Dadic moved his last remaining chips into the middle with 8 8 and found himself heads up with Neville Govender holding A K. The Ace appeared on the flop and despite an additional straight draw on the turn, David Dadic heads for the rail in 79^th spot.

No defence of the title

Evro Psiloyenis eliminated in 85^thposition.

Ben Cade was looking good for a double up when he got his money in with 8 8 vs Ilija Martinovic with A 8. 84^thforCade when the Ace appeared on the flop.

Bazil Moutafis tried the power play all-in with 7 7on an Ace-high board but was called by Francis Vanderlinden who had flopped Acesup. 83^rdfor Moutafis who couldn’t catch up.

M J Pieters will not be defending his title. He is eliminated by David Rosenthal in 82^ndplace.

Noeline Kemp mucks

noeline After relatively big bets on each street, Noeline Kemp bet out on the river with 10k. She was re-raised by Greg Ronaldson for another 40k and her tournament life. She made the call and when Greg showed A A, she mucked and left the room. 88^th place.

Ricardo Esau, the last player to not arrive, is out in 87^th position.

15 minutes left at this blind level.

No shows eliminated

David Renaud and Marco Ferreira, both of whom did not make it to the tournament have just been blinded out in 91^st and 90^th place.

The hapless Chris Sham once again will not make it deep into All Africa even after he flopped top set on an 8 9 J board. The money went in with Nick Berman who had the open-ended straight draw with 10 10. The river Q eliminates Sham in 89^th position.

Dadic is up to 9,000 chips.

Bishop busted and Dadic destroyed.

The bad form for All Africa commentator David Dadic continues… Dadic made the pre-flop raise with Q Q and was called by Craig Krull with 8 8. A 4-bet on the 5 7 J flop saw all the money go in and Krull was looking towards the rail with very few outs. The turn was the inevitable sweat card: 6 and the river 9, completing Krull’s straight, left Dadic with 4,000 chips and a few questions…

Keith Bishop felt the wrath of Jay Sookoo when his 9 9 could not catch up to the K K. Out in 92^nd spot.

Fisher and Lottering – out!

Overnight short stack Rodd Fisher could not make his paltry few chips last and he falls in 94^th place.

Frano Lottering flopped top and bottom pair to Emmanuel Kistan’s middle pair. The turn however gave Kistan a three of a kind and ended Lottering’s run in 93^rd position.

Martinovic as overnight leader is continuing in his winning ways and although he is not hitting the board like he was yesterday, he is bluffing like a champ.

The 25 denimination chips are being taken out of play.

Reilly on the rail

The talented Mr Koor

Stewart Reilly

is the first victim of the morning falling to Cornelia Steenkamp. Reilly had the best of it pre-flop with 9 9 but the face cards on the flop made her suited K Q the winner. Reilly it seems needs the support of his boys to go deep at All Africa – 96^th position.

Andre Fouche lost all of his chips to Nick Berman when he was outkicked after they both flopped a pair of Aces. 95^th place.

In a bizarre turn of events, tournament director Sandy Koor has taken over the dealing duties on Table 4!

Ilija Martinovic is looking fresh and relaxed and it seems that the late drive through misty weather yesterday did not put him off his game. Will Ilija manage to make it two?
