Rahme marches on towards final table

Ray Rahme has had another hand hold up on the main table to take him that little bit closer to a spot on the final table. This time he knocked out Damien Cornelli with pocket Ks, vs Damien’s A K. Ray’s hand held up to send Damien home. We are down to 35 players.

Conrad is on fire

Shouts of “Conrad you can’t lose” were heard around the poker room when Coetzer knocked out yet another player to grow his chip stack even further. Jaco Storm was his next victim, shipping with A Q. Conrad called with K K. With a flop of 4 4 3 everything was pretty much over for Jaco, leaving just 39 players left.

Darren Kramer has knocked out Nik Rujevic with pocket 10s. Rujevic went all in with K 10, but nothing fell on the board to help him, so Darren took the pot with 2 pair on a board: A 2 5 2 7. Blinds up to 3000/6000 (500 ante) in 2 minutes.

Conrad takes another 2 down

In three way action on table 1 Conrad Coetzer has taken down Victor Witte and Bennie Lingenfelder on one hand. Bennie shipped pre-flop with A 4. Conrad called with pocket Ks, and Victor came over the top to go all-in with A K. The flop came 3 2 Q, with Conrad ahead. The turn and river put it out of reach of Victor and Bennie when another Q fell on the river to give him two pair and the win.
