Piggs Peak Casino to sponsor Night Racing

The new year promises to be an exciting one for horse racing fanatics around the country. From January 2010, Piggs Peak Casino, home of All Africa Poker will sponsor night racing at Turffontein in Gauteng, Greyville in Durban and Kenilworth in Cape Town.

“The atmosphere at night races is electric and provides a completely different experience to day-time events,” says Wendy Graaf, Group Marketing Manager of Piggs Peak Casino. “It’s a great opportunity for the public to be part of this different format of horseracing.”

Native Skampa wins EPT Prague

Dec.07, 2009

Jan Skampa became the first Czech to win an European Poker Tour event. Skampa took first place at the EPT Prague as well €682,000 and a seat to the European Poker Tour Grand Final. Critics are calling Skampa the best player to have come out of the Czech Republic so it will be interesting to watch how he fares at the EPT Grand Final!

Back here in Africa, seats are already flying off for the greatest poker tournament in the continent! The All Africa Poker Tournament will be held 11 – 14 March 2010 at Piggs Peak Casino, Swaziland. Click here for more details on the tournament
