2009 Aussie Millions Poker Championship Starts Tomorrow!
For over the past decade, the Aussie Millions Poker Championship has been regarded as one of the world's biggest and most prestigious poker tournaments, drawing many a poker legend and celebrity to try thier hands at the guaranteed Main Event first prize of AUD$2 Million.
This year, the expected prize pool is set to reach AUD$ 17 Million with all the action starting tomorrow, 9 January 2009. Players could also walk away with the main event bracelet worth almost AUD$20 000 or one of the 18 Official Championship rings worth AUD$5000 each! Aussie Millions is the only other tournament in the world to offer a winners bracelet, with the WSOP being the first.
The tournament will begin with the No-Limit Holdem – Two Day Event (guaranteed first prize of $500,000) at 12:30pm at Melbourne’s Crown Casino and will conclude on Monday 26 January, when the 2009 Aussie Millions Poker Champion will be crowned.
