Isabella “No Mercy” Mercier last lady standing at EPT Warsaw

The European Poker Tour’s Warsaw stop has concluded and female professional, Isabella “No Mercy” Mercier emerged as the last lady standing. The 33-year-old Canadian poker player’s claim to fame is winning the Ladies Night Out Invitational WPT Event, where she got dubbed Isabella “No Mercy” Mercier.

Her fall to Arnaud Mattern has done nothing to tarnish her career, as she has earned over $800,00 in total live earnings… Mercier is living her dream, playing poker internationally and releasing books and DVD’s as she goes along. Watch this space to see what this exceptional female player achieves in the future.

Eastgate makes history at WSOP

Phil Hellmuth's record of youngest Main Event champion at the WSOP has been broken! 22 year old poker pro Peter Eastgate beat out his Russian opponent Ivan Demidov in an exciting, high stakes game that lead to all the money going in on the river. Eastgate’s final knockout punch made him World Champion. Looks like the World Series is getting more interesting year upon year! all Africa Poker can't wait for their front row seats at the WSOP next year!

The 15th All Africa Poker Tournament is over.

Evern Van Niekerk is the new champion and not only was this his first All Africa but also his first live tournament! Once again the tournament was a resounding success with the players enjoying the weekend and appreciating the effort and organisation that goes into running a successful event of this magnitude.

All of the finalist will be jetting off to the Aussie Millions tournament in Melbourne in January and maybe one of them will best that field and bring more glory to Southern African poker.

All of the finalists have also received cell phones sponsored by Samsung with Evern taking home the remarkable Omnia. This will help everyone stay in touch with their loved ones back home.

Watch out for the airing dates of this tournament on the All Africa Poker Channel on DSTV.

The next All Africa Poker Tournament will be held in February and this time seats to the WSOP will be up for grabs. The campaign begins tomorrow!
