Pot of the night

Hand 45: NIc calls on the button and he and Allistair Didloff go to the flop.
Flop: 7 7 2, Turn: 10 bets 50k and called, River: A NIc bets 30k and is called. He wins with 10 J

Hand 46: Nic calls UTG and Ray raises to 70k from the button. Allistair makes the call from the SB. Eber also calls and Nic makes it a family pot. Pot at 288k!

Flop: 9s 5s 8h, Ray bets 80k from the button and only Nic calls. Turn: 10d, Nic checks and Ray bets 180k. Nic contemplates for about three minutes and finally goes all-in. The decision is now with Ray for just under 500k. Ray takes his time because this decision could win or lose the tournament. Ray folds and Nic shows A Q. Well played!

Flop: Q 3 6, Turn: 8 and River: 5
Reynhart Van Rooyen has been eliminated in 5th place and takes home R165,000 and a trip to the WSOP valued at R150,000

The players are filtering into the poker room. The top four players are very evenly poised with only Reynhart Van Rooyen feeling some pressure. It could be a while before the winner is presented with his cheque…

Cards in the air with Rahme on the button.

Hand 41: Nic and Ray flat call and Eber allows them to see a flop.
Flop: 10d 5d Ah, Nic bets 30k and Ray calls. Turn: Qd and River: 8h. ray bets 60k and Nic folds. First blood to Ray

Hand 42: NIc raises to 50k UTG and Reynhart Van Rooyen in the BB declines the invitation with his meagre chip stack

Hand 43: Eber raises his button again to 75k. NIc contemplates this as a button steal and calls.
Flop: Js 7 5s, Eber bets and NIc folds.

Blinds: 10000/20000
Antes: 2000

Hand 39: SB Nic completes and Ray checks
Flop: Jd 6 Kd, 4d, Jc checks all the way and Nic shows A Q to win.

Hand 40: Reynhart Van Rooyen raises to 66k one off the button and Allistair Didloff reraise from the BB to 150k. Reynhart Van Rooyen all-in and is called instantly
Cards on their backs: Reynhart A K vs Allistair A Q
Flop: 4 10 J, Turn: 7, River: K. Allistair’s Ace Q miraculously turns in to a straight and he takes down a huge pot.

The players are taking their dinner break.

Groundhog Day for Eber

Hand 35: Ray raises from the SB to 33k and is called by Allistair Didloff in the BB.

Flop: K J 10, 9, 8 and Allistair bets 120k on the river and has Ray in a quandary. He eventually gives it up. Allistair shows a straight flush to the King!

Hand 36: Allistair Didloff gives Ryan Eber a walk. He obligingly shows an A J.

Hand 37: Eber announces raise from the SB and BB Reynhart Van Rooyen folds. Once again Eber shows A J.

Hand 38: Ray Rahme raises UTG to 44k and is reraised by Ryan Eber to 150k on the button. The buttons get out of the way but Ray gives it up. Ryan now shows an A K.

Ten minutes before dinner

Hand 31: Nic flat calls one off the button. Eber is in the BB.
Flop: K 2 6 all hearts, Turn: 9d, River: 5h Nic bets 40k which Ryan calls. Nic shows the Ace of hearts and wins the pot.

Hand 32: Allistair Didloff raises from the button to 40k and takes the pot

Hand 33: Eber raises on his button to 71k. Nic looks like he really wants to call but give it up eventually

Hand 34: Ray gets a walk… without even asking

Blinds: 8000/16000
Antes: 2000

Hand 27: Allistair Didloff raises from the button by 50k and takes the blind and antes.

Hand 28: Nic Rujevik gets a walk

Hand 29: Ray asks for a walk but Nic completes his SB this time.
Flop: A Q 8, 5,3 checked down and Ray wins with a Q.

Hand 30: Eber raises UTG to 55k and gets respect

Blinds: 8000/16000
Antes: 2000

Flop: A 9 4, Turn: Q. 100k bet fom Reynhart which is called. River 9 and Ray bets 200k and takes down the pot.

Hand 22: Reynhart Van Rooyen gets a walk

Hand 23: Blind on blind
Flop: Q A 3, Reynhart bets 40k and is called by Nic Rujevik, Turn 4 and River K. Check check and Nic shows an Ace to take the pot.

Hand 24: Ray asks and gets a walk in the BB.

Hand 25: Three way between Ray, Nic and Allistair without raises.

Flop: 8 A K, Turn: 10 NIc bets and wins

Antes: 2000
