2008 Aussie Millions Poker Championship ‘MAIN EVENT’ kicks off today
Australia’s largest, richest and most prestigious poker event is all set to open today at 12h30pm in the Crown Poker Room, Melbourne Australia. The event will be launched by Australia’s own poker king Joe Hachem, as well as 2007 Aussie Millions Main Event Champion Gus Hansen.
More than 850 players will pit their skills against of the most formidable poker legends from across the world, to claim their share of the anticipated AUD$10 Million plus prize pool, which will include an estimated first prize of AUD$2 Million are expected in tomorrow’s No Limit Holdem ‘Main Event’ paying $10,500 to enter.
Due to the large field of poker players, the Main Event has been divided in three separate starting days, due to commence as follows:
Day 1 of the Main Event is divided into three separate starting days. Monday 14 January ‘Day One-Flight 1’, Tuesday 15 January ‘Day One-Flight 2’, Wednesday 16 January ‘Day 1-Flight 3’. With Day Two to commence at 12:30pm on Thursday 17 January.
