10 previous winners in the house!
Evidenced by the fact that there are 10 previous winners of the All Africa poker Tournament seated at the tables, this must be one of the strongest fields in recent history! Claude Sacks, Nicolas Zakhem, Ryan Price, Darren Kramer, Dale Winterstein, Ryan Eber , Gareth Kalil and Ray Rahme are all looking for a second title whilst poker veterans Chris Convery and Peter Vermaas are looking to make history by adding a third title to augment their legendary status.
Other than these ten poker icons there are also the players that have come close but stumbled at the final hurdle. Notable amongst these are the commentating duo of Ryan Brauer and David Dadic and the recent hot runners like Warren Zackey and Robert Kay. Both Zackey and Kay made respectable cashes at this year’s World Series of Poker and their form seems to have stayed with them leading up to this event.
